Gabriel McCoy
MA/LMFT/Clinical Director/Owner
Gabriel McCoy, LMFT holds a B.S. from Belmont University in Nashville, TN, and a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in neurofeedback, a powerful technology used to treat a number of brain-related dysfunctions including ADHD, OCD, depression, anxiety, migraines, tics, autism, Asperger's, autoimmune disorders, trauma, addictions, traumatic brain injury etc. Gabriel enjoys working with an array of clients including individuals, couples, families, teens and children. He has extensive training and experience in play therapy and personality testing and has worked in a variety of clinical settings for over 15 years. Gretchen Ferreira
M.S. / LMFT/ Clinical Associate
Gretchen Ferreira, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her M.S. in Behavioral Science and B.S. in Psychology from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. Since 1997 Gretchen has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, county mental health, long term care facilities, a group home (which she anaged), and was a co-owner of a business that helped individuals learn to communicate more effectively and work as a team. She has also worked as part of Medford Women’s Clinic to help women and families develop better skills, self-care and communication and overcome depression and anxiety. Gretchen has a special calling to help women who are struggling in their pregnancies or with infertility, for women transitioning into parenthood, and for women who are entering into the "empty nest" phase of life. Gretchen also incorporates neurofeedback into her practice as an adjunct to therapy, especially for clients who have experienced significant trauma.

Darnel Scott
MMFT /LMFT/Clinical Associate
Darnel Scott, LMFT, completed her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University, Abilene TX and she is also a certified Neurofeedback practitioner. She has done extensive training in the field of Neurofeedback and enjoys the results this modality brings to her clients, especially those who struggle with ADD and ADHD. Darnel is passionate about families and marriages and enjoys working with these clients to reach their goals. Her approach is focused on systemic results and is convinced people can accomplish the change they want to see in their lives. Darnel addresses a broad range of emotional and psychological issues using a variety of clinical techniques. Her goal is to create a safe environment where clients can grow and heal. She has worked with all ages and is especially skilled in treating step-family dynamics, depression, anxiety, behavioral parenting issues and marital issues.

Gregory Rich
M.DIV. / LMFT / Clinical Associate
Greg Rich, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and ordained minister. He received his Masters Degrees in Divinity and Marriage and Family Counseling from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. Greg’s training focused on family systems and he has received additional training in Theophostic Prayer Ministry. Greg has counseled in a number of settings in the Rogue Valley. Since 2001, he has served as one of the Pastors of Table Rock Fellowship overseeing their Restoration Ministries. Greg works with individuals, couples and families, addressing depression, anxiety, anger, spirituality and the "lies" that keep one trapped in self-destructive or
counter-productive behaviors. He also works with couples, families and adult survivors of childhood abuse.

Kathleen Compton
M.A. / LPC/ Clinical Asscociate
Kathleen Compton, MA is a licensed professional counselor who received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University. During her internship at the Center for Family Development in Eugene, she counseled individuals, couples and families with issues such as depression, anxiety, low
self-esteem, work/financial stress, relationship conflicts and parenting concerns. She has also worked with teens in crisis at Lane County Juvenile Detention, helping them identify personal strengths and healthy coping skills. Kathleen has a heart for work that promotes healthy functioning in individuals and families. Her approach is strengths-based and relationally focused. As a former youth mentor program specialist, Kathleen enjoys working with teens and has experience and training in play therapy. She also offers workshops for parents and spouses interested in improving family communication and connectedness. Kathleen integrates Christian principles and psychotherapy for clients seeking this approach.

Laura Stanislawski

Laura Stanislawski, NCC, LPC, received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University. She has worked with clients with issues of aging, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, anger, sleep problems, and domestic violence. She is particularly interested in helping women understand and remove themselves from the cycle of domestic violence as she volunteered for six years with Community Works’ Dunn House (a women’s shelter for victims of interpersonal violence) before returning to school. She has facilitated groups through WinterSpring Center, a grief and loss support network. Laura uses a psychodynamic perspective to help people gain freedom from their past trauma and wounds and is trained in EMDR.

Judith C Labert, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She enjoys working with people of all ages. She incorporate art and play therapy as well as using Aroma Freedom Technique and other modalities into her work to focus on processing trauma. Expressive arts provides a unique way of expression that speaks where words may fail. Aroma is a powerful tool that works simultaneously on emotional, physical, mental and spiritual levels of health. Aroma reaches the amygdala where trauma memories are stored. She has a client centered approach and works on meeting the client where they are at to best help where they are "stuck."
She specializes in children, implementing art therapy, play therapy, Aroma Freedom Technique and other evidence based modalities in her work.
She is focused on holistic health as well as mental health. This includes the whole person, including physical and spiritual health. She meets my clients where they are at and will incorporate whole person ideals as welcomed by her clients.

Melanie Lute
M.A./LPC-Intern/Clinical Associate
Melanie Lute is a Professional Counseling- Registered Intern. She received her Masters in Counseling from Oregon State University. Melanie is a trained Neurofeedback practitioner and firmly believes is the effectiveness of this treatment for helping those with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression and migraines, among others. Melanie also incorporates play therapy into her practice with children and adolescents. She enjoys working with clients of all ages focusing on resolving an array of life's challenges including anxiety and depression, trauma, transitions, including the LGBTQ community. A former school counselor, Melanie enjoys working with school-aged individuals and their families. Within her practice, she includes her extensive knowledge of health and wellness and utilizes techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, neurofeedback, play therapy and attachment therapy.

Kendra Hills-Rhoden

Kendra Hills-Rhoden, MA, PC Intern clinical experience includes working in a private practice setting as well as community mental health. Kendra enjoys coming alongside clients on their individual journeys to help discover early childhood attachment and family systems influences to understand how the past affects the present, and how to effectively move toward healing and restoration at a deeper level. She enjoys bringing her knowledge of women’s physical, emotional, sexual, and relational health into counseling when appropriate. She also highly values parent-child relationship skill-building and seeks to help parents understand developmental health, age and stage, and the importance of secure attachments and relational health within the family. She enjoys working with kids of all ages to help bring awareness and understanding to the internal experience that is often displayed through behaviors. This awareness is strengthened through various play therapy modalities, along with bilateral stimulation.
Kendra utilizes a variety of counseling methodologies including attachment therapy, cognitive-behavioral approaches, EMDR, neurofeedback, play therapy, narrative therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, emotion-focused therapy, object relations therapy, and client-centered therapy. Her clinical expertise includes working with childhood trauma and attachment issues, along with incorporating spiritual principles for whole health and healing.

Dane Anderson

Dane Anderson, MS, is a Professional Counseling – Registered Intern. He received his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University and is an EMDR trained clinician. Dane enjoys working with both adolescents and adults, and has worked with clients dealing with anxiety, PTSD, depression, anger, and family conflict. He applies depth psychology, family systems, and solution-focused approaches to therapy. Dane is passionate about helping clients develop the self-awareness and nonjudgmental curiosity needed to navigate the internal world. He welcomes faith and spirituality as an instrumental element of the therapy process and sees personal wholeness as an endeavor worthy of heartfelt pursuit. He believes that discovering and befriending fragmented parts of one’s personality is necessary to break free from unhelpful thinking and cycles of dysfunction. Dane is also working on a Doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology and enjoys helping athletes and performing artists, through mental skills training, perform their best when it matters most.

Daniel Reeser, LMFT

Daniel Reeser, LMFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received his master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University. Daniel is passionate about helping children and families move toward healthier patterns of functioning. For over 10 years, Daniel has worked primarily with children ages 3-10, focusing on trauma, attachment issues and behavioral challenges and believes strongly that families are the true experts when it comes to their children. His goal is to partner with families to help facilitate behavioral changes, emotional healing and the restoration of relationships. Daniel is trained in a wide range of therapy techniques and often utilizes Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy). He often uses Filial Therapy, which engages parents as partners in the therapeutic process and empowers them to be the primary change agent for their own children. Daniel's approach is non-judgemental as he helps children and families move toward health, healing and restoration.

Angela McCoy, office manager and co-owner of Trinity Counseling, has over 20 years of business experience. She has worked in accounts receivable, marketing, computer systems management and website development/design. She worked in the corporate offices of Mercy Ministries of America while studying business & psychology at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. After moving to Los Angeles, CA she worked as a marketing assistant for the Japanese division (ORIX Rentec) of ORIX USA Corporation.

Office Assistant
Cheri Moore, formerly worked as a paramedic in the Bay Area, currently a CPC and monitor tech, joined Trinity Counseling to support the office staff. She feels privileged to assist both the Trinity staff and the clients whom we serve.
